Security Of Electronic Voting Is Condemned - washingtonpost.com
Link to PDF White Paper.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology has released an official white paper study concluding that electronic voting machines are too open for manipulation, that adding a paper trail adds nothing to the security of the machines.
They state that if using modern equipment, that optical scanning is the best solution.
I agree 100%.

The state of electronic voting is a joke. Anyone who thinks otherwise either works for a company that sells these pieces of junk or uses their money to get reelected.

Yup. Everyone should watch Hacking Democracy. It's pretty sickening watching Diebold get up there and lie their pants off.

Who needs electronic voting? We had zero problems with the November elections. Wasn't a single disenfranchised voter.
The two previous elections were just a mess, but miraculously we got it right this time.

well I haven't heard any complaints of voter fraud or dangling chads.
I mean, either the election was accurate and honest - or Democrats don't complain about it unless they lose.

I, like most Republicans, have simply concluded that the elections were stolen. Don't see any need to throw a fit about it. After all, the best way to remind people about how inept Democrats are is to show them how Democrats govern.
So far, so good.

And Republicans are too old to realize they've been defrauded.
Your votes are stuck in a tube somewhere.
