My favorite web cartoonist, Maritza Campos, describes a hilarious urban tale of how a flock of whining sore losers was duped and distracted from their vigil.

That's what happens when a philosophy defines "the best interests of the people" as its own interests. It's a warped definition, but it's nothing if not self-consistent, because it conveniently means that if socialism ever loses then by definition it must be because of some form of oppression, because for socialism to not be in power goes against the best interests of the people and people always vote in their own best interests, which socialism has defined as itself.
