Could Winston Churchill Be Elected in America Today?

BECK: All right. Welcome to "The Real Story".

What I want to know is, why shouldn't we have "Could Hitler be elected in America today?" polls? Or how about Charles De Gaulle? OOooooo, or Mackenzie King, Canada's "greatest Prime Minister!" No, wait...COULD PINOCHET BE ELECTED IN AMERICA TODAY?

That is all. Good-night, my lovelies.

Probably not. For one thing, politics focuses much more on the private lives of the candidates nowadays (not that it isn't important, but it's way overrated), and Churchill would lose spectacularly on that basis.
