Anyone catch either of these?

Bill-O did the best he could on Colbert, but as he even said himself, it was a mistake for him to come on.

It reminded me a bit of that famous SNL bit where Joe Cocker is singing, and John Belushi comes out doing a Joe Cocker imitation that was better than Joe Cocker himself.

The best exchange was on Bill-O's show though:

Bill-O: Don't you owe me millions of dollars for imitating me?

Colbert: I'm not imitating you, I'm emulating you. The difference between imitation and emulation is that if I was imitating you, I would owe you millions of dollars, by emulating you, I don't.

I forgot this one, but I saw it replayed on Olbermann.

Bill-O: No, this is all an act. I'm really very sensitive and effete.

Colbert: Well, if you're an act... then what am I?

Colbert on O'Reilly

O'Reilly on Colbert

Personally, I like Colbert on O'Reilly, mainly because of how much Colbert drives O'Reilly nuts - "Who are you?! COLbert or ColBERT?!!" - but also for how there's about two guys in O'Reilly's audience who start laughing at Colbert. I can imagine the rest of his audience trying to shush those guys up.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Does O'Reilly have an audience, or is that his crew?

I think them being on the payroll makes it much worse.

Good point. I don't watch O'Reilly, so I wouldn't be able to tell you.

BTW, here's how FNC thinks the whole thing went.

That's his crew. I think both appearances were good, and I give O'Reilly credit for going along with it.

Anyone pick up on the fact that O' Reilly made an entrance on Colbert, instead of Steve walking to the table. Bet that was a point of emphasis.

YouTube - O'Reilly Reprises Colbert Appearance
"A cabal of hip, left-wing people."

Sounds like O'Reilly got picked last in dodgeball a lot.

"One ticket to Washington, please. I have a date with destiny."
