A senior adviser to the Prime Minister has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice by police investigating cash-for-honours allegations. Ruth Turner, who is Director of Government Relations, was also detained under the Honours Prevention of Abuses Act.
...
In a statement, Tony Blair said: "Ruth is a person of the highest integrity for whom I have great regard and I continue to have complete confidence in her."
Downing Street said it would mean the delay of the delivery of a file on the inquiry to prosecutors.

it would mean the delay of a file... wtf? why should they get to delay a file - if the file exists it should be seized.

So that's four of Blair's close advisors arrested, and he himself interviewed by police. Hopefully the noose is tightening around that insidious, odious man's neck.

Come on The Queen vs Tony Blair.

Not to mention the recent news of his deception over nuclear waste, and telling soldiers "On the part of the military, they need to accept that in a volunteer armed force, conflict and casualty may be part of what they are called upon to face." soldiers' response: British Army Rumour Service.

the end is hopefully nigh for him.

Blair is one of only a few courageous men fighting the terrorist scourge. Al Qaeda and its spawn wait for a time when the British love peace more than principle - when bin Laden and others can affect UK foreign policy just as easily as they changed Spain's.
