A Muslim group has offered to help fund a school's legal battle over its refusal to let a pupil wear the niqab in class.

In an unprecedented move, the Muslim Educational Centre of Oxford (Meco) has written to the head teacher to say it is prepared to contribute to a fighting fund.

So the local council won't support the school, but is giving the family legal aid. So the tax payer loses on both counts.

And on the other hand you have Muslims offering to help the school's fight against the niqab. Which I see as a good thing.

Surely it would fall under health and safety as well, anyone could be under that thing. If the local council didn't fund the family, I'm sure the local pedos would be lining up.

Interesting that Meco singles out Saudi influence behind the whole thing.

This is a good thing, in my estimation.
