Hello,

I've read a lot about the stuff Jimmy Carter has been doing in helping combat river blindness and other diseases in developing countries, this is all really cool.

I've read stuff about Clinton working in Africa, doing some Tsaunami relief, etc. this is also cool.

What sorts of things have H. Bush, Reagen (when he was alive), and other past presidents done? Do all of them take on projects like this, or do many sort of just disappear?

Honestly, when I read about some of the stuff Carter has been doing, my respect of him grows a great deal. In a way, whatever you felt about the kind of job he did for the US as president and all of the other usual partisan hit-job sort of stuff seems rather small compared to his contributions to the world as a philanthropist. I would love to have the power and resources to contribute to the world in such a meaningful way, how cool is that?

Generally speaking of course, when Republican presidents retire they polish their putters and try to make the world safe from sand traps.

"'Jelly Hat' sounds silly," I told Prince. "How about something poetic, like 'Raspberry Beret.'"

Carter being anti-sematic is constructive?
And the current Bush has spent more on AIDS research then Billyboy ever did.

Clinton's works is purely political. Just to further his wife's career.
All men are created equal, but what they do after that point puts them on a sliding scale.
