I've long been upset about the lavish and copious amounts of park an streetlighting. Given the looming catastrophe of Global Warming I say we take back the night sky and roll back some of these rediculous and wasteful night lighting regulations on our highways. I'm serious. I bet we could save a lot of oil, bring back the night sky and help save the planet at the same time.

A lot of places are starting to install solar and/or wind powered street lights that are off the grid.
