It's about time! I'm sick of New Hampshire and Iowa being the Deciders. All states should have their primaries at about the same time so that we don't have an unrepresentative, regional population picking the party candidates.
Is there any benefit to having the NH/IA dynamic in place?

I think argument is that, by separating the state primaries, the candidates have a chance to campaign in a closer, more individualized environment. Otherwise, if we just had a big national primary, whoever had the most money to buy TV ads would win. I'm not sure I agree with that, but that's what people say.
