It goes both ways to a certain extent. I'd be of the opinion that the feeling would lessen a while after the nominee is decided, but it's true, it seems to be clash between old and new guard of Democrats.

Wow, I don't get it. They seem rabid.

I think it is sour grapes. They are obviously Hillary folks since it is a Hillary website, but geez. Sad.

It's called fanaticism. Not to play too much into all the hype of the nomination rhetoric, but I did pick up definite racist tones in some of those posts. The majority of them sounded ignorant at best:

"I agree that writing in Hillary's name is a vote for Obama"

I love all the talk about how inexperienced Obama is. What about their beloved Hillary's husband? He was one of the youngest and inexperienced Presidents ever elected.

Hillary supporters hating Obama and vice versa is ironic in same way that it was ironic the way Nazis hated Communists and vice versa. There's virtually no difference between the two sides, yet they despise each other.

To be fair, Clinton was the longest serving Governor in America when he was elected. Obama has yet to serve a full term in the Senate.

But BIll is not running, Hillary is.

My mother has said as much. She will vote McCain if Obama is the nominee.

You'll find the most fanatical supporters of any candidate(or favorite computer operating systems) on their respective websites. In the real world, I think most former Hillary supporters will vote for Obama albeit grudgingly. The only former Hillary supporters I can't imagine voting for Obama are the "uneducated whites" that Hillary brags about. It's also a stretch to imagine disillusioned republicans voting for him . However, if gas is $5 a gallon by then anything is possible. If I had to call the election today I'd have to say McCain would win -- since the democratic nominees have done such a great job of destroying each other and doing McCains work for him. I've heard almost no negative press on McCain since the other republican nominees dropped out.

This should be an easy one to figure.

You got 3 left wing liberals on the ballet.

Obama, Clinton and McCain.

The left has three choices to vote for.

Not a single Republican in the bunch.

Yeah, that is a little more fuzzy than it used to be. I think conservatives will have a hard time adjusting to their new position.

Trouble adjusting to the new position? HOGWASH.

Conservatives were the minority for years prior to Goldwater, Reagan, and the 1994 Congressional takeover/contract with America.

It will be no difficulty adjusting to the minority conscience of the country.

Conservatism is good for America, and when America decides to listen to its conscience, conservatives will be ready.

There is so very much wrong with that list.

He was talking about conservatism, not Democrats/Republicans.

Abolitionists were liberals, pro-slavery southerners were conservatives.

Point is, the party hasn't always been so conservative. I know more than a few annoyed libertarian or fiscally conservative republicans. And the whole McCain is just some liberal democrat is a joke. Except it's not funny.

Incorrect.
Conservatism in every age is about preserving and extending freedom.

The conservative's first concern is, are we maximizing freedom?
