Dawn Teo: Tea Partiers Punked, Prankster Leads Chant "Columbus Go Home" (VIDEO)

Brilliant prank, great to watch the reactions, especially that angry dude that that kept on yelling "f- you" at the guy who gave the speech.

Perhaps this also nicely complements my thread about how there are still many Americans that are racist and/or xenophobic...

People that lose control over their rational minds and resort to such emotional outbursts like that "f- you" guy often scare me in public settings. If I were the guy he was yelling at I'd be preparing myself to be punched in the head or something.

It's funny when those same kinds of people that are prone to losing control and in the process have difficultly putting together a coherent argument try to intimidate people the same way on the internet. There are thankfully nobody like this here, but I've seen people threaten others the same way in other online settings. It blows my mind that they can't figure out that this sort of intimidation doesn't work online

At any rate, this was indeed quite well done. I love how he opened his speech with the usual rhetoric before he totally threw them off...

That whole video was pathetic. What a bunch of tools. All of 'em.

Isn't that redundant? I wouldn't be killed if I weren't dead, dummy.

I see since you like white text so much that you are racist. Black text isn't enough for you.

Haha, you know, wanna know the worst thing about America? It's that you can't do anything to idiots like that, because they might have a gun stashed down the back of their pants. If that was in Canada and that guy did that to me, I would've put my elbow in his mouth.

I have some buddies who were down in Miami this weekend. They were walking by some guy - maybe late 30s, standing there with a skateboard - and all of a sudden this dude just flips out and starts telling them that they're "dirty Jews" and to "go back to Tel Aviv." My buddies were just kinda scratching their head, in a "WTF" manner - it was just a surreal moment for them. (Yes, a couple of them were Jewish.) Well this guy ends up following them as they start walking away; and I mean, just skateboarding along the road for about 15 minutes, yelling anti-semitic comments the entire time. They go into a fast-food joint to eat, still bemused, and when they come out 20 minutes he's still waiting for them!

They'd never seen that sort of thing before... ever. I've never heard of that sort of thing happening in Canada – if we were out and some guy started doing that, he'd get the **** kicked out of him. But they didn't even know what to do with this guy - he was wearing baggy clothing and could have had anything stashed on him.

Weird stuff, to worry about whether some ****head has a gun.

Amen Greg. If that were here, the guy would've been punched out.

What difference would it have made if he was carrying a gun or not? He could have been carrying a knife instead. In general it is probably not smart to mess around with highly emotional people that appear to have severe mental problems.

Those are the easy ones Bess. It's the cold, calculating bastards that you don't want to be messing with.

Why take the chance, especially when in this case it is over deranged words that should not be taken seriously?

Nobody should have to endure racist harassment. Something like that should be taken seriously.

But who was doing the racist harassment? The dude who was telling the Euros to go home or the dude who was telling that dude to f off?

It's a quagmire!

Clarification: I wasn't there.

But why would they do that? It's some late-30s guy on a skateboard. What are the police gonna do - tell him not to say bad things any more? Tell him to go away? Arrest him?

The police have enough problems to worry about without having to deal with every nutbar with a dirty mouth.
