This originally came out a few years ago, but resurfaced again as more Pentagon emails were made public.

In sensational warnings that circulated publicly in late 2006 and early 2007, the Pentagon's Defence Security Service said coins with radio transmitters were found planted on U.S. Army contractors with classified security clearances on at least three separate occasions between October 2005 and January 2006 as the contractors travelled through Canada.

The ironic part is that these were commemorative coins, to remember the war dead. The stupid part for the Pentagon is that they were also widely publicized, and could have easily been read about by a quick Google.

Yeah, right, and Mike Myers isn't actually a Canadian superspy? Tell me another.

I think they should use the coins in an episode of 24.

I'm suddenly so disappointed that the US doesn't have nanotech spy coins.

I can procure a couple of prototypes for the Pentagon. $20000 each. Please PM me with the number of them you need. (Note I can likely only procure 2-3. Any more and CSIS would start to suspect me of espionage.)

I've already said too much. Please keep this quiet.
