Getting rid of Genieo
I've removed Genieo from my iMac's hard disk using the uninstall, but just can't get rid of it on my FireFox browser, despite finding no add-on that could be related to it. Can anyone help, please?

This seems to be causing problems to everyone & has been reported or called has virus!
Though different companies set Alert levels differently for this software (Microsoft) The problem your reporting is to reset your browser search preferences since after removing Genieo doesn't reset back to defaults & leaves Genieo as the default still? Others have had bigger problems in this spreading throughout their system Genieo.com : Browser hijacker | Forum | WOT (Web of Trust). Hopefully your be alright but since to much bad "press" on this company/software don't install again. |
!
DarkStarRed, that did it. Thanks so much.
