iPhoto shows <!> icon when viewing full photo on Mac - started happening after I changed my short username

GREETINGS AGAIN
iPhoto shows an exclamation icon <!> icon when viewing any photos in the iPhoto library on my Mac that were once working.

This started happening after I changed the short username to my account.

I tried rebuilding the iPhoto library. That didn't work.

I have 1300 photos/videos and am not about go to find every one of them by hand.

What should we do?

So you double-click a thumbnail photo and you get an "!"? Weird. Did you also try rebuilding the thumbnails or just the database?

I think your only resolve would be to follow through the steps laid out
here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread...art=0&tstart=0

That's the thread that I visited before I asked about it here.

None of the options worked.

Oh well, that's what I get for changing my account's short username. (Apple really needs to do something about that.) I'll just create a new library, not a big deal really.
