Do you use an RSS reader?
Hello ...

ah, look, I've been thinking about switching to an RSS reader for years, in a way, but I never did. I do read online news occasionally and I wonder often enough if an RSS reader wouldn't be the best option. Somehow, it was 'in' for a few years, but no one does it now, right? Am I entirely mistaken? Didn't Apple throw out Safari's RSS reader entirely after a while? To me, the main counter-argument is that a news website is usually built around the news, not to simply present a single one or a couple ones, so it helps you understand the general idea, and no matter if you have a reader, you need to view the site for this. True? What do you do? Didn't websites switch to offering RSS feeds manically at a point?

I use Reeder on OSX and iOS as a simple way to view news updates to a dozen sites. Much simpler than navigating to each and is great on iPod Touch.
