Hi,
Does anyone know of a beard trimmer that can trim (not shave off completly) beards to make it look like 2-3 day shadows?
Thanks!

There was something called the "Miami Device" that did just that (in honor of the "stubble look" fad a decade or more ago). Also, any set of regular electric clippers (like used at a barber shop) should do the job as well. Most have attachments for different lengths. Use one without any attachment added and it will usually trim down to about 1 -2 days growth.

Umm, you could buy a beard trimmer. They all have little foils so you can set how long you want it. I think mine goes up to an inch or so.

my friend has the philips c688. i can't seem to find anything on philips' site about it.
i found this though. hqt 863, which seems like a newer model of his.
i have used his and it is awesome. it has a little wheel that you turn to alter the length of the trimmer. cordless too.

Norelco T970 or T770
A great benefit to these are that they've a built-in vacuum (as odd as that sounds) that traps the clipped hair. You'll find that if you trim your beard (or, ahem, whatever) with these things, hair goes all over the place.
