Disk First Aid: "Open Files"??????
I need some help.
Every couple of days after booting into Os 9.22, if I open Disk First Aid, it lists "open files" under several partitions, even though NO applications are open.
Running disk first aid does not correct the message.
I have to rebuild the desktop of all partitions to get rid of that message.
Anyone know why I get "open files" on various partitions?
What effect do "open files" have on the computer?
How to prevent this from happening?
Thanks for any response.

Re: Disk First Aid: "Open Files"??????
There's many reasons why files may be open without you realizing it - from background applications or even file sharing.

The utility List Open Files will give you a list of the open files on your system.

They should have no effect on your system, disk-wise.

Though they will stop DFA from scanning those portions (likely very small) of your drive.

The open files, most likely, is the Virtual Memory file
