Can I mix FPM and EDO memory in a 7300?
I have a 7300 with 160MB ram (2x32M + 2x64M), all FPM memory right now.

I was wondering if I could put EDO ram in the remaining 4 slots or does ALL ram have to be EDO or FPM. I will match pairs.

in a word.....NO! You must use FPM ram in your 7300.

Yeah what he said. Don't want to do that to your Mac. What kind of procesor do you have in there. The best type of RAM for your machine depend on the upgrades you may have done or not done to it.

Currently, this machine is bone stock, 200MHz 604e with OS8.6.

Dunno if it is even worth putting $100 of RAM in it.
