what are MIME files? i guess they are a PC thing, cause they always cause me trouble. and when i try to print one from internet explorer it wont let me. this is the big problem, how can i solve it. any help would be GREATLY appriciated.
thanks a bunch.
MIME files are file extensions, the acronym stands for, let's see, Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions.
You can't print an extension.
You must have a file that you are trying to open (from a PC?) that hasn't been mapped to a specific application on your system (or that hasn't been auto converted by your email or IE) you need to open/decompress the file using Stuffit Expander or set a particular app to open the file in your Internet control panel.
If you set the mime handler here your system should be able to open and handle it as any other.
