Puzzling behavior
I'm running OS9.2 on a clamshell iBook SE. (actually, newly upgraded from 9.1)
The other computers on my ethernet automatically appear on my desktop upon restart. If I'm not connected, I get no warnings or dialogs asking for them, so it's not a problem; it's just... puzzling. I do not have their aliases in my startup items, before you ask.
Anyone have an idea on this? I seem to remember a setting somewhere that says something like "remount.... something... on restart..."? I'm stumped.

Thanks, Oscar! When did that folder appear, and what decides what gets aliased into it? Hmm... now I know what to look for [leaves, mumbling to himself...}:D

when you mount a server through the chooser the first time, there is a check box next to it asking to mount at startup. so you can either trash those aliases, or goto chooser, select the server, and uncheck the volumes....
