How to connect to Internet in Mac OS 8.5

I got a Power Mac 5500 with an ethernet port. OS is Mac OS 8.5 and BeOS 4.5.

The apartment where I am living has ethernet port. But once you get a new computer, first time you want to connect Internet, you have to visit the university's homepage. It's called Networking Registration.

My problem is: on BeOS 4.5, NetPositive does not support JavaScript. So I cannot finish the registration.

On Mac OS 8.5, I don't know how to do? It should be ethernet and DHCP but always fails.

The configuration is correct. The problem is IE 4.0. It sucks.

try netscape 4.8 and everything is OK.

Okay. And tip.

Try to get Mozilla 1.0 for BeOS somehow. It's a fully capable browser (including JavaScript of course.)
