Fragmented hard drive

Hi, I still use OS9 for Pro Tools free and it wont let me use it know. When I click record it says my disk may be fragmented. I thought this was a pc only problem, I can't find any software to help me out.
The rest of my mac is working fine and Mac os X works without problems too. Should I reinstall pro tools?

Im using Macosx 10.1.5 and macos9 (which ever version came with my mac). My mac is a dual 1Ghz G4 (quicksilver, i think)
