Upgrading to 9.2.2 on Hardware test cd
Does anyone know if it is possible to update the system on a hardware test cd?
I have a cube with a 9.1 test cd, but as I have a sonnet upgrade card in the cube, it can only boot for system 9.2 and later. When looking at the content of the hardware test cd, I see no obvious way to upgrade it - any suggestions?

TIA,
Peter

No, the Hardware Test CD is read only.

You could try making a HW test CD image and replacing the system folder with a 9.2.2 System folder (oh, perhaps the one from the cube). Then burn the image. Maybe it will boot.

Let us know.

I have now made a disk image, which works as a bootable cd, but when I tried to change the system files, it wouldn't work (I could select it as startup disk, but when actually starting up, it just went to normal OS X).
I'll try to work a bit more with it, and post if I can make it work.

Thanks,
Peter
