imovie 2 issue
I'm running OS 9.2 with Imovie 2.
I just purchased a Canon Optura 20 DV camera. When I connect the camera via firewire, I can hear the crackling of the computer letting me know something is working (plus, the profiler does recognize it for those that need a more scientific approach), but iMovie does not see it at all. I just get the blue screen that reads camera disconnected.
I brought my camera to my office where I am running OSX on a G4, connected it, started imovie (3), and everything worked perfect.
So what's the deal? Why wont iMovie 2 see the camera?
I've searched for hours online for information, hoping to run across someone who has had the same problem and solved it - but so far, nothing.
Anyone?

Re: imovie 2 issue
Is it even supported in iMovie2?

I don't know if there is a difference between the Optura 20 and 20MC but if there is then you would need to use iMovie 3 or higher. Also this is the wrong forum. It should go in the software forum.
