adding text to the function keys
How to you add a line of text to the function keys? I can see how you add a program, but I can't find how to add a set of text.

One word:

-- AppleScript--

You can perform miracles on a Mac using AppleScript.

There are a couple of very good shareware programs which can accomplish the same idea, if you're not into writing your own AppleScripts. The first is TypeIt4Me by Riccardo Ettore, and the second is AutoTextTyper, a CMM. Both are available at Versiontracker.com and various shareware sites. Both are customizable, with lots of extra features. Neither will allow you to assign F-Keys to type particular lines of text, but will allow you to assign any other keyboard combinations you wish to write whatever you type repeatedly, name, address, email, or even whole business letters...
