Finder versions- need a bit of help
What is the most recent version of the COMMERCIALLY RELEASED or Preinstalled Classic Finder? I do not wish to include any internal releases or developer builds- just the straightforward Mac OS Finder.
Should there be any difference in finder version between current models (i.e. Pismo to G4 733)? Can anyone find any version difference between the full 9.1 install and the updated 9.0.4 to 9.1 version? Is there a version difference between an X modified Classic Finder (machine with 9.1 and Classic installed) and one with just 9.1- no X installed?

There may be differences in theSystem suitcase rather than in the Finder for OS which comes with your hardware but I think the finder of a fresh x.y install is always the same than the Finder installed if you do an update to x.y.
And OS X does change some other things in the classic system folder, not the Finder.

My 8.6 Finder says it's version 8.6, my 9.1 Finder is version 9.1.
