9.1 Navigation Services/web downloads
I just upgraded to 9.1, but I much prefer how Navigation Services was handled in 8.6 when it comes to saving/downloading webpages to disk. 8.6 would remember all the file locations to which you made downloads in a "Recent Items" folder. This helped alot if you downloaded to the same set of folders. In contrast, this folder is empty in 9.1, and the OS only seems to remember the last ten locations. Is there a way to make preference changes to be more 8.6-like?

I guess you and I are the only one one the planet that dislike Navigation Services. Itoo also dislike them - but mainly because of speed. Seems like it takes an inordinate amount of time to display file lists and the buttons are sluggish. For years I have used the Default Folder feature to turn off Navigation Services. Unfortunately more and more apps these days require navigation services to operate properly. Don't know if Default folder would help with your query but you might give it look.
