files won't delete!
I have two html files on my machine (G4/400, OS 9.04) that won't delete when I try to empty the trash. Says the files are locked. I get info. on the files and sure enough the little check box is checked but it won't let me unlock them. I can't rename the files, save over them with the same name, etc. I can't even open them with ResEdit. If I make a copy of the files, they retain the EXACT same name in the same location. So, now I have four locked files I can't delete! Anyone heard of this nonsense? Please help!

have you done the obvious, hold down option key while emptying the trash?

Yep, did that first. For some reason ResEdit is telling me that the file has no resource fork, but I know for a fact that it was created on a Mac. What gives?
