QuickTime and SMIL
Hi there-

When authoring SMIL documents with Quicktime extensions, Apple's doc tells you to add the following to your SMIL file - to specify the namespace:

<xmlns:qt="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resources/smilextensions">

Unfortunately, this file/directory does not exist on Apple's server.

Does anyone know the new address?

Thanks-
- Bill

Hi Bill,

I know nothing about authoring SMIL documents, so I probably should not be trying to answer your question. Please excuse me if this answer is way off base.

I'm wondering if that URL was ever a real one that could ever be accessed. The reason I say that is because according to this web page about QuickTime authoring, QuickTime does not actually access the URL; it is used only to uniquely identify the QuickTime SMIL extensions.

What do you think?
