is it possible to boot linux off of a usb zip disk?
is it possible to boot linux off of a usb zip disk? does this work for all drive that are on usb (hard drives, super disk, zips)
my next queston does anyone know where i can find a case with a usb adapter that i can put an old ide or scsi drive in?
oh yea is there a special keyboard action like holding down the option key to boot the drive?

I don't think you can boot-up off a USB Xip Drive.

You can do this on the older SCSI drives though.

I doubt you could fit too much of a linux OS on a Zip anyway.

Sprite, can you boot off the USB Zip? Depends, if you have a newer mac (6 mos or so), maybe. If your mac is older, no, only the newest macs support booting over USB.

USB booting also requires Mac OS 9.0.4, I believe.
