VPN Client for the Macintosh

Can anyone point me towards a VPN Client for Macintosh? Or perhaps the first question is, does one even exist?

VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. It's a method to connect multiple LANs across the internet using a secure connection. That said, I have no idea if there's a Mac client. You could try searching VersionTracker or Download.com.
