How do I turn off memeory count
I'm using OS 9.1 on a Pismo. I forgot how to turn off the memory count when the machine starts up. Help!

to disable the RAM test at startup, hold down the command and option keys while opening the memory control panel.

If you think it's going to save you any startup time - it won't - might as well leave it on.

Used to be one of the rec's for shortening startup - but with the newer, faster
chips, it doesn't make any difference.
