Under OS9 my bondi iMac hangs on shut down if i've been on the internet, I think it is only with OE5 but also IE4.5 maybe, dosn't seem to affect netscape.
Once again any thoughts appreciated.

Although Explorer and Outlook have some nice features, they contain more bugs than Netscape. Using the help of Outlook Express causes crashes on 3 different computers! (using the "back" button)
I use Netscape 4.7. It is fast and stable.
But I give all my applications a lot of memory. (PS: Explorer has a memory bug, the longer you use it, the more RAM hungry it is)
Not a problem with Netscape...

Had this problem on a 7200 Power Mac, the Mac was stable but would freeze if shut down with pull down menu but not with power button and dialog box. A cleen install of OS fixed it.
