Apple investigating firmware and memory problem.
Apple is investigating reports that some third-party memory modules are not recognized following the recently released 4.1.7 and 4.1.8 firmware updates. As part of this investigation, they're asking for any helpful information you might be able to offer. Read about it here.

[Ramjet] "Ramjet has successfully tested all of its memory products for compatibility with Apple Firmware 4.1.8. The standard Ramjet warranty has now been extended to guaranty compatibility with the latest Apple firmware. Any Ramjet memory user, that is experiencing any RAM issues when running 4.1.8, is asked to please call 1-800-831-4569, and Ramjet will provide an immediate replacement."
