Access to modem and IP network at the same time.
Someone has just said that they can't have access to their ISP via the modem, and still be connected to their local IP network. I can't try this at the moment as I have no access to a Mac, so I thought I might get a quick definitive answer here.

Cheers

Sure you can (if I understand what you are asking). I do it with the help of IPNetRouter. In fact, I am accessing another Mac (AppleTalk), a PC (using Dave) and surfing on the net, simultaneously http://forums.macnn.com/cgi-bin/smile.gif

And I imagine there are other ways to do this.
