I went past a website which gave the specs for every Mac ever made (I think)
but I failed to bookmark it...anyone remember it?

Sometimes the other sites (everymac, etc.) have the most accuruate info. Apple tells me that my Performa 580CD has a 66MHz processor, but technically, it's only a 33MHz (I don't understand why). But Apple claims that it'd double the MHz, but the other sites report it correctly.
So you might want to check two sources, and see if there's any changes.

Why 1984, won't be
like "1984"

Personally, I like best.
There is also a program that has all this info... is that everymac, or is that a site? Hm. I can't remember :\
