And, um, I once saw a chart showing which css tags worked for which browsers, anyone know of something along those lines?

Ooh; this looks like another Sticky (tm) post to me.

Maybe we should make a sticky list of important posts, tricks, tools, etc. before we get too many sticky threads. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

I agree with the sticky containing a bunch of important links. I have a FAQ that I started last year under the shortly-lived FAQ project that has some good stuff in it some might find useful.
