Do you use a docking station for your iPad? (Does it make sense with lightning?)
Hello,

so, my parents got an iPad a few months ago, but only now do they really get around to start using it more and more. Back then, I bought one of the first lightning ipad docking stations I could find in Germany, so they could charge it easily. I thought that's the way they really preferred and had expected. I wonder, however, if these stations are really still a good idea with the lightning connector: Frankly, to me it feels as if the contacts were endangered, as you always have to shift around and swing back and forth before it really fits in neatly - it's just way too big.

I don't know about others, I suppose many people always just had their iPad lying around to charge it, no?

What should I do? Is there a great lightning docking station? What do you do?

Greetings,
PEte

I use a dock (speaker dock) with the iPhone 4, but the iPad I only charge off the travel adapter. For one thing I don't have to think about keeping it charged and for another it's easier to plug it in with the Lightning adapter.
