iPad with cellular service says No Service, in iOS 7
I have an iPad 2 with AT&T cellular service, updated to iOS 7.. I have never activated the AT&T cell service, and it says "No Service" where it used to say AT&T in the top left corner in iOS 6.

I'm wondering if it says No Service because if in iOS 7 they changed what is displayed if the service is not activated, or if there something wrong. I can set up an AT&T account in System Settings but since I don't want to activate the cellular service I don't want to do that.

Welcome to the MacNN Forums!

If your iPad said AT&T before, and now it says "No Service," then its cellular network settings may be incorrect. "Oopses" happen with iOS upgrades, and that is what this sounds like.

Go to Settings | General | About and scroll down to "Carrier." If it doesn't say AT&T, and/or if it doesn't give a ICCID (SIM ID code) there's a problem.
