Apple releases iTunes 11.0.1, returns dupe finder feature
Late Thursday, Apple updated its two-week-old iTunes 11 with a updated named 11.0.1 (currently only available through Software Update), but which nonetheless restores a feature whose absence was decried by upgraders -- the duplicate finder built into the program. The new version restores the dupe finder, and solves a few teething issues with the overhauled iTunes. Apple's iTunes 11 was the first major rewrite and UI overhaul in the program for over a decade, and has been met with some mixed reviews.

You realize "dupe" isn't short for "duplicate", right? It's means "deceive" you dope.

Nice going. It is always great <read sarcasm> when someone personally attacks another member because they disagree with them. Must be public schooling. |
The half you're wrong about makes you look like a complete dolt. |
dupe 2 |d(j)up|
verb& noun short for duplicate, esp. in photography. I'd honestly never heard it in that context. Though, I'm not a photographer, and neither is iTunes... p.s., I wasn't attacking "another member." I was criticizing the lazy title. |
