IK Multimedia has launched a new collection of Jimi Hendrix inspired gear for its AmpliTube software. Built to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Hendrix's birthday, the new collection includes 4 amps, 7 cabinets, 5 microphones, 10 stomp boxes, and 4 rack effects. The full version of <a href="">AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix Anniversary Collection</a> is available for $100, while previous users of AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix and AmpliTube 3 are entitled to an upgrade price of $40. Each of the new models will also be made available within the Custom Shop with prices ranging from 20 to 30 Gear Credits.<br /><br /><strong>ReelBeanX released for Mountain Lion</strong>

ReelBeanX, a new version of the <a href=" 10&tmpid=3909& com%2FWebObjects%2FMZStore.woa%2Fwa%2FviewSoftware %3Fid%3D591824494%2526mt%3D12" rel='nofollow'>video conversion software</a> designed for OS X Mountain Lion, is now available in the Mac App Store. The software provides various playback and exporting tools and is built upon Apple's latest AV Foundation frameworks that are built directly into OS X 10.8. The marker track view allows users to add custom markers to any point of a video, and then quickly jump to them at any time. Meanwhile, export options include H.264/AAC, ProRes, HD, Apple device presets, M4A audio extraction, and options for exporting an entire video or only a selected region.
