Staples officially launches US Apple sales
Following up on statements by executives, Staples has officially launched sales of Apple products in the US. At the company's online store, the company is only selling accessories and peripherals, ranging from iPhone, iPod, and iPad cases through to the Apple TV, Time Capsule, and Magic Mouse. Plans for stock at retail stores haven't been announced.

Staples has sold Apple products internationally for some time, but been unable to carry them in the US. In 2011, Staples CEO Ron Sargent said he wanted to expand sales to America, but claimed that Apple wouldn't offer its products. Apple is less dependent on third-party retailers in the US since the country is thoroughly covered by hundreds of retail Apple Stores in addition to the online Apple storefront.

Our local Staples store plays creepy romantic music whenever I look at an office electronic, their prices are high, most of the reps. are weird and know nothing about Macs, and the cashiers just stand there and let people struggle.
Oh well, at least it'll help the business.
