Educational prices drop for 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pros
Apple has lowered the prices on 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pros at its US educational store. The 2.5GHz and 2.9GHz systems have each dipped by $100, down to $999 and $1,299, respectively. Those costs are $200 less than what Apple charges the general public.
Discounts on all other MacBooks remain the same. To be eligible for educational pricing, a buyer has to be faculty, staff, a student, or the parent of a student at a higher educational institution, or a worker at a K-12 school.
