MacBook Air owners complain about fluctuating volume
Some owners of the 2013 MacBook Air are experiencing problems with uncontrollable volume fluctuations, according to <a href="https://discussions.apple.com/message/22463024#22463024">posts</a> on Apple's support forums. The issue typically manifests in first- and third-party apps playing video, including Apple's own QuickTime. Although Apple has yet to provide a fix, third-party sound enhancement apps can potentially keep audio manageable.<br /><br />The new Air has been beset by several technical issues. These include <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/289635==http://www.electronista.com/articles/13/06/20/latest.generation.has.wifi.connection.problems.for .many/" rel='nofollow'>flaky Wi-Fi connections</a> and <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/289636==http://www.macnn.com/articles/13/07/11/fix.also.reflected.in.os.x.mavericks/" rel='nofollow'>flickering graphics in Photoshop</a>. Yesterday's <A href="http://www.macnn.com/articles/13/07/11/small.mac.ios.releases/">AirPort Utility update</a> may solve Wi-Fi difficulties.
