Version 6.1 of NameFind and version 5.1 of PacketStream have been released, and are now offered at a lowered price of $20. NameFind optimizes file searching within OS X, performing custom search queries more efficiently than the included Spotlight technology. NameFind targets specific directories, and can integrate Quicklook and Growl. Version 6.1 includes Sparkle support, and improvements in Growl integration. Packetstream, another Code by Kevin product, gives users the ability to monitor streaming data over a network. Providing a user-friendly GUI for tcpdump, the command-line monitoring tool is useful for checking web traffic and network activity. Version 5.1 also includes Sparkle support, as well as performance improvements and bug fixes in printing engine. Registered users of either application are entitled to free upgrades for life.
