Briefly: Vevo iOS app gains AirPlay, Yelp now accepting mobile reviews
Vevo has pushed out updates for the iPhone and iPad versions of its music video steaming app. Along with some minor bug fixes, the updates also introduce full AirPlay streaming support. The updates come less than a week after rumors of a native Vevo Apple TV app surfaced. According to Advertising Age the app will give Apple TV users access to the company's 24-7 music video channel. Vevo TV, which launched in March, offers an alternative method to finding and watching videos from the traditional web search.

Mobile reviews now supported in Yelp for iOS
Yelp, a popular service for finding local establishments, has updated its iOS app with a long requested feature. For the first time users will be able to submit full reviews from directly within the mobile app. Previously, users could leave "tips" from the mobile app but full reviews were restricted to the desktop environment. Tips will still be available within the app, and Yelp will automatically covert reviews that are deemed to be too short into a tip. The update will slowly be rolling out to iOS users starting today, while an Android release is planned for the coming months.
