Briefly: apps begin receiving iOS 7 updates, Lazer Dice for Maschine
Alongside today's release of iOS 7, a number of apps have received updates adding support for the new OS and its flat design. The latest <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Google Chrome</a> update offers improvements to fullscreen behavior on iOS 7 devices, while <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Pocket 4.6</a> has gained the ability to perform sync operations in the background even when the app is closed. Other updated apps include <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Kindle</a>, Skype for <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iPhone</a> and <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iPad</a>, and <a href=" 10&tmpid=3909& com%2Fca%2Fapp%2Fid655890150%3Fmt%3D8%2526s%3D1434 55" rel='nofollow'>Screens 3</a>.<br />

<strong>Native Instruments releases Lazer Dice Maschine expansion</strong><br />

Native Instruments has released a new Maschine expansion featuring custom drum sounds and patterns designed to reflect future bass and related genres. Along with drum sounds, <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Lazer Dice</a> also includes a number of synth leads, pads and basses, all of which can be loaded on a pad as part of a drum kit. Key parameters are also automatically mapped to Maschine's eight display knobs making it easy to tweak the presets as needed. Lazer Dice can be purchased from the NI Online Shop for $50, while a compact versions is also available for the iMashine iOS app as a $1 in-app purchase.
