Forums: new Intel chips pose a security threat and more
Today in the MacNN forums, Junior Member "Ron K" shared some information about the new Intel chips and how they may be hackable even if the computer is turned off. Forum members continue to discuss rumors surrounding the release of Haswell powered iMacs.

A frustrated "Fresh-Faced Recruit" turned to the forums looking for a reason why Safari reloads every time they "back-arrow" to a previous page. One Junior Member took to the forums after installing iOS 7 on their iPhone 5 and having an annoying pop up window that says "Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications." Junior Member "holderlin" has been having trouble with OpenGL support in VLC and they turned to the forums for some advice.
The new Intel CPUs do not pose a security threat. vPro has been around since the Core2Duo era, and it's used by system administrators, not the government.
