FireCore releases Infuse 1.5, promises major revision in Infuse 2
FireCore has issued v1.5 of Infuse, its iOS video player. Unlike Apple's native Videos app, Infuse supports 14 different formats, including AVI and MKV. Version 1.5 lets users save playback settings for each video, and group TV shows by season. Subtitle toggle and 30-second rewind buttons have been added, and gesture controls can now be used to both fast-forward and rewind 30 seconds.

Perhaps more significantly, FireCore says that a major revision, v2.0, is already planned for the fall. The app will sport a completely new look, and require iOS 7, taking advantage of the OS' new features. The main feature however will be the ability to play videos stored on other devices, including Macs, PCs, and network-area storage. FireCore is also promising new Pro-level features, which it will give to existing Infuse owners for free.
Infuse 1.5 costs $5, and runs on iOS 5 or later. The title is a universal app for iPhones and iPads.
