Briefly: Facebook Messenger gets SMS, LinkedIn, Pulse fully integrate
Facebook Messenger, <a href="" rel='nofollow'>a chat app for Facebook users</a>, has received an update for iOS 7. Facebook Messenger allows users to read messages without opening Facebook, send photos privately, make free calls and more. Version 3.0 features a completely new design, optimized for iOS 7. Central to the update is that users can now message people that are not their Facebook friends, using SMS. Available for free, Facebook Messenger can be downloaded on iTunes.<br><br />

<strong> LinkedIn Pulse receives streamlined reading experience</strong><br />

LinkedIn Pulse received an <a href="" rel='nofollow'>update</a> <a href="" rel='nofollow'>yesterday</a>, offering a streamlined reading experience, simplified navigation, and further integration with one's LinkedIn account. Pulse was purchased by LinkedIn back in April, hence the rename, and the app's new features highlight the new ownership.<br />

Users can sign into LinkedIn Pulse via their LinkedIn account, and share content with their professional network. LinkedIn Pulse has replaced LinkedIn Today as LinkedIn's "<a href="" rel='nofollow'>main vehicle for [its] social news experience</a>". Available on <a href="" rel='nofollow'>iTunes</a> and <a href="" rel='nofollow'>Google Play</a>, LinkedIn Pulse is free to download, and requires a LinkedIn profile to use.<br />
